Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen will meet AC Milan on Tuesday for Match 2 of the league stage of the UEFA Champions League at the BayArena. The German side have started the 2024-25 European season well winning 4-0 against Feyenoord in the first clash of the tournament. Paulo Fonseca’s team, on the other hand, struggled a lot in the first games of the Serie A season as well lost 3-1 to Liverpool in the opening of the Champions League, but when things seemed to go in the worst possible direction, the Rossoneri succeeded win the Derby della Madonnina against Inter and won 3-0 against Lecce last weekend.
