Columbus announced today that they have reduced the practice roster by six players. The roster now has 23 forwards, 10 defensemen, and 3 goaltenders.

Cam Butler – Loaned to Cleveland
Corson Ceulemans – Loaned to Cleveland
Cole Clayton – Loaned to Cleveland
Samuel Knažko – Loaned to Cleveland
Curtis Hall – Returned to Cleveland on an AHL contract.
Pavel Chayan – Returned to Cleveland on an AHL contract.
NAME NEWS: #CBJ loaned four players to @monstershockey and sent two more to the AHL club. In addition, Zach Sawchenko cleared waivers and was assigned to Cleveland.
The club’s training camp list now stands at 36 players (23 F, 10 D, 3 G)….

The Jackets play the Sabers tonight at Nationwide Arena with an NHL roster. The Sabers will go with an AHL roster due to the main roster being in Germany to prepare for the World Series.
