He completed 21 of 23 passes for 254 yards and two. scores, rushing for 39 yards and a touchdown. He now accounted for five total touchdowns on the season, two passing and three rushing.
With veteran running back Austin Ekeler out for Sunday’s matchup, Brian Robinson Jr. will handle the heavy lifting for Washington’s backfield. Although he was held somewhat in check Monday night, Robinson totaled 262 combined rushing-receiving yards in three games and scored twice. The Commanders gave up nearly 256 yards passing per game, second most in the league behind Baltimore. Arizona should take advantage of Washington’s thin secondary with quarterback Kyler Murray and rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. In three games, Murray threw for 635 yards and five scores, while rushing for 161 on the ground. He’s connected three times in the end zone with Harrison over the last two games and with tight end Trey McBride out with a concussion, Harrison should see plenty of targets again this week.
