Between Miami: With Sergio Busquets and Tomas Aviles back from suspension, Martino will have most of his first choice XI available. While Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez have been critical in scoring goals, it is also important not to concede, which is where having first-choice defenders is quite important. On a good day Miami’s defense will allow chances, but they can’t afford more draws with records in play.
Charlotte FC: Struggling to string together wins, Charlotte has only won one of their last four matches and that was against New England who finished with 10 men. They are firmly in the playoffs at the moment but are racking up some losses and things could change quickly in a tight Eastern Conference. Beating Miami will be a tall order but Dean Smith’s side need points quickly to confirm their play-off position.
