Before Friday night of the Knicks with the Detroit Pistons, New York placed Karl-Anthony Towns on its injury report. The report designated Towns as questionable with a left wrist sprain.
This news comes less than a day before the new Knicks center exploded for 44 points and 13 rebounds in their win over the Miami Heat on Wednesday. While the name should be something to keep an eye on, this could simply be a formality as Towns goes through his pregame routine and workout before a decision is made.
It should be noted that Josh Hart was questionable entering the Heat game with a lower leg bruise and played.
