The field conditions at Corinthians Arena appear to be quite slippery, which resulted in several players from both teams slipping and sliding on the field. In the first quarter, Christian Watson slipped and missed what would have been a receiving touchdown by Jordan Love. Midway through the second quarter, cornerback Jaire Alexander slipped, which allowed Eagles wideout AJ Brown to make a catch and spin upfield for a 20-yard gain. And that’s just a few examples.
“It was a problem for sure,” Packers head coach Matt LaFleur told the broadcast from the field before leaving for the locker room at halftime.
