Going into the weekend, while there are plenty of football games, they can sometimes be overwhelming to a breakdown for betting. But that’s why we’re here, to help keep track of the best bets of the weekend. From the Premier League to obscure teams deep in Austria, there’s not much that’s off the table. A few notes to arrange is that all the mentioned probabilities are readily available and although it is easier to use a widely available book, online shopping to get the best price is encouraged whenever possible. Also, when it comes to player props, it’s better to wait for lineups when you can, because not all books clear non-starters and a substitute look can ruin getting money for a bet.
Heading into the weekend we have three main bets and talk, all bets will be taken as a unit unless otherwise noted so without further ado, let’s get to it.

Premier League: Liverpool v Wolverhampton
Saturday, September 28 (12:30 pm ET US and fubo television)
The choice: Liverpool to score over 2.5 goals +104
Sometimes a choice may need a lot of analysis as to why it makes sense, but this is not one of them. The Reds have flown under Arne Slot, scoring three or more goals in four out of six matches in all competitions this season. Two of those came at home and two more came away from Anfield. Facing a Wolverhampton side who are in the thick of the relegation race, even if Liverpool turn around with Champions League football on the horizon, it doesn’t matter. Wolves have conceded 14 goals in league play, which is joint worst with Everton. I also don’t mind Luis Diaz finding the back of the net here.
La Liga: Osasuna vs. Barcelona
Saturday, September 28 (3 p.m. ET ESPN+)
The choice: 0.5 units, Raphinha to have three or more shots in the first half +300
Under Hansi Flick, the Barcelona attack was on the front foot from the start of matches to the final whistle and that was quite a benefit for his attacking players. The one who has especially flourished is Raphinha. Without Dani Olmo he has increased his shot production from the left side and Osasuna will not be able to keep up with him. The Brazilian averages 3.71 shots per game, although this is reinforced by taking six against Villarreal, therefore it is pulling back units play, because it is a longer shot for him to take care of business in just 45 minutes of play.
Danish Superliga: AaB vs. Sonderjutland
Sunday, September 29 (8am ET)
The choice: 1st half over 1.5 goals +144
Here we go a bit outside the box… we look at the bottom half of the table in Denmark. Sonderjyske have improved their form recently scoring two or more goals in four of their last five league matches while AaB have conceded two or more goals in four of their last five matches. But, starting play, none of these teams are able to defend. Because we don’t care who scores, let them start early and often. Only the over 2.5 are a bit too juicy for me at -160 so I’ll take a chance.
Weekend talk
The choice: 0.25 units, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Marseille all to win +311
Keeping it simple here. I don’t like to take multiple road teams but Liverpool and Marseille are both in matches they should win. Bayer Leverkusen will fight for Bayern Munich but in the form the German giants are in, I’m not sure if any team in the world can stop them from winning.
