Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic suffered a right wrist strain and will miss at least a week, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania on Thursday.
Doncic received evaluations on the wrist on Wednesday and will begin rehabbing the injury, sources said.
He will be reevaluated after missing the next week of games against the Denver Nuggets, Miami Heat, Atlanta Hawks and New York Knicks, sources said.
Doncic tried to downplay the injury after Tuesday’s win over the New Orleans Pelicans, noting he started feeling the problem in the first quarter but adding he thought it was “nothing serious.”
