Warriors unveil new court design for 2024 NBA Cup home games originally appeared on NBC Sports Bay Area
New year, new court.
The Warriors will look to raise the a franchise’s first NBA Cup title next month, and they’ll do it in style, with a special court coming to Chase Center for Year 2 of the previously known in-season tournament.
Golden State’s court features the newly unveiled secondary logo and plenty of navy and gold. The NBA Cup Trophy is also present at center court and in the paint at both ends of the floor.
Here’s a look at the Chase Center floor layout for this year’s tournament, via Chase Center.
Group play for the NBA Cup begins in mid-November. T Warriors, in West Group C, will play four group games, starting with the Dallas Mavericks visiting on November 12, which will mark. Klay Thompson’s highly anticipated return to Chase Center.
Golden State will host the Memphis Grizzlies on November 15th, before wrapping up group play on the road against the New Orleans Pelicans on November 22nd and the Denver Nuggets on December 3rd.
All six group winners — plus two wild cards — advance to the quarterfinals. If coach Steve Kerr and Co. would make the knockout stages of the NBA Cup, the quarterfinals will be played on December 10-11, the semifinals will be on December 14 and the championship game will be on December 17 in Las Vegas.
