Watch Steph Kanono’s son make a wild paper airplane throw at Chase Center originally appeared on NBC Sports Bay Area
Greatness just runs in the family.
Warriors superstar Steph Curry second youngest son, Cannon, turned heads Thursday with a highlight of his own.
In a video shared on YouTube Shorts by the iconic trick shot group Love PerfectCannon is seen perfectly launching a paper airplane from the Hunting Center nosebleed all the way down to the court.
“He’s like a professional paper airplane maker,” said Cory Cotton, a member of Dude Perfect. “The Currys are built differently.”
As a finishing touch, Cory’s brother and fellow bandmate, Coby, captured Canon’s amazing full-arena helved.
“Yeah, Cannon, what a dime, man,” said Coby, excited after catching the plane.
And Steph, being a proud fatherpatted his son and said enthusiastically, “That was pretty cool.”
The Curry is simply not lacking. And more awesomeness to come.
Steph and his son shot a much longer video with Dude Perfect for the group’s “Overtime” segment, and it’s scheduled to be released on Saturday. Then, Steph is expected to be seen pulling off flawless trick shots and feats of all kinds with Cannon and the other members of the group.
Dude Perfect, a group that has dominated the trick shot scene since its founding in 2009, has filmed with other NBA stars such as Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Dončić and former Golden State guard Chris Paul.
If anyone is going to provide top-notch sharpshooting content, it’s Steph.
The 10-time NBA All-Star and future Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame selection made plenty of ridiculous 3-pointers, no-lookers and half-court shots during his 16 years as the face of Warriors basketball.
Fans will be in for a treat when Curry’s full Dude Perfect segment airs on Saturday.
