For the second time this week, Christian Pulisic opened the scoring for Milan in the first 10 minutes against one of the best teams in the world. This is pretty significant coming against Inter in the Milan derby, and Pulisic has now scored in three consecutive games for Milan in all competitions and four consecutive games if you include national team play. In enough form, Pulisic now has three goals and two assists in just five matches and could easily surpass last season’s output of 16 goals and 10 assists for Milan.
He wants this goal to have a better result than his Champions League goal in midweek against Liverpool. Pulisic scored and then Milan went on to concede three goals losing the match. The team’s form has not been great under new manager Paulo Fonseca but Pulisic is doing everything he can to turn the team’s form around.

After winning the ball in the middle of the pitch, Pulisic went on a great straight run into the box finishing his chance with ease. Avoiding an Inter defender and calmly slotting the ball past Yann Sommer, Pulisic’s confidence shows in his game. If Milan can hold on, the result could take them up to seventh in the Serie A table but nothing can affect a team’s form like a big win over a rival. Milan learned the hard way that they can’t rest on a lead but through Pulisic, they always have a chance to win.
